Membership
The RSL is Australia's largest, most influential and effective ex-service organisation. The League provides its members with a range of benefits and services, as well as promoting the ties of mateship and caring for veterans and their dependants.
The Waverley RSL offers four levels of membership
Service Membership
Eligibility: Any person who is currently serving or has served in the Australian Defence Force or any of Australia's allied armed forces for a period of not less than six months.
Affiliate Membership
Eligibility: Any person who is currently serving or has served in the Australian Defence Force or any of Australia's allied armed forces for a period of not less than six months.
Social Membership
Eligibility: Persons who would like to be a Member of the RSL on a social level only, with limited membership benefits.

Community Membership
Eligibility: The Waverley RSL is a licensed Sub-branch and licensing laws require that all persons who reside withing a 5 km radius of the premises and who desire to frequent the premises, must be a member. This category provides for those persons who are either not eligible for, or do not wish to become a member in terms of the above categories. Members in this category are not required to 'sign in' on entry but have no other membership entitlements.
